December 2013, Huawei launched the Huawei honor 3C smartphone, this is the cheap Android phone but packs with nice specs.
Honor 3C is running with Android 4.2 and powered by MediaTek MT6582 SoC, 1.3GHz quad-core processor. This phone has 5 inch screen size with 720 pixel LTPS panel display. Powered by 2.300 mAh battery capacity, this phone is also has dual SIM Card slot that works with WCDMA + GSM and TD-SCDMA+GSM. 8 megapixel camerawith f/2.0 aperture and 5 megapixel front facing camera.
Today Honor 3c already discontinued but many people still use it for several reasons. When comes to aged phones, we will face situation where the phone start to gives problem and need to repair or parts replacement.
Here we provide a guide for Honor 3c disassembly that may useful.
1. PREPARATIONS
Tools that we use to disassembly Honor 3c (1) here are simple. Only using Philips screwdriver (2) and Opener Pry Tool (3)
2. REMOVING BACK FRAME
Firstly you need to remove back cover, battery, sim card and SD card from the phone. Then remove all the screws using Philips screwdriver.
After all the screw has been remove, use the Opener Pry Tool to open the back frame.
Please carefully when separating back frame with front frame because both frame are attached a little bit tight each other.
After successfully removing the back frame, please keep it safely.
3. REMOVE CAMERA MODULE AND ALL FLEX CABLE
To remove the camera module, lift up the camera flex cable that plugged to the logic board.
Using Opener Pry tool again,y unplug all the rest of the flex cable.
4. REMOVING LOGIC BOARD
Using Opener Pry tool, carefully take out the logic board from the front frame.
